Set in Cleveland's Black activist scene following the death of MLK, this is both exhilarating and entertaining. It is a retelling of John Ford's _Informer_, directed by Jules Dassin in a return to American filmmaking. Beautiful nighttime photography with strong ensemble acting add to this bold, fas ... cinating film. Long unavailable, it is worth re-discovering.
