Decent watch at best, probably won't watch again, but can recommend for a younger audience. In traditional sequel fashion, this was worse than the original. It feels like it actually has a richer, more complex story to it with a better message of cooperation and right over wrong, but it relies t ... oo heavily on weird effects combined with a lack of technology working in the story. What really sets it apart is cross competitiveness with a secondary kid team, which was really cool to suddenly see a young Emily Osment ("Young and Hungry"). And Steve Buscemi shows up as a mad scientist which is interesting all to itself. The movie has its high points, but I feel like you spend far more time in the valleys.
