| Since his triumphant rise to power in the original blockbuster "The Scorpion King", Mathayus' kingdom has fallen and he's lost his queen to plague. Now an assassin for hire, he must defend a kingdom from an evil tyrant and his ghost warriors for the chance to regain the power and glory he once knew. Starring Ron Perlman ("Hellboy") and Billy Zane ("Titanic"), and featuring 6-time WWE champion Dave Bautista and UFC star Kimbo Slice, "The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption" takes "The Mummy" phenomenon to an all-new level of epic action and non-stop adventure. | |

Our stand in Scorpion King certainly does not have the presence of The Rock, but the franchise finally finds its place in the world: Being fucking ridiculous. I mean, what a cast! And those awful one-liners? Delivered with such enthusiasm, and after almost every strike! Incredible. _Final rating: ... ★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
<em>'The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption'</em> is rubbish, but it kinda falls under 'good bad movie'. I say that because there isn't anything I can praise about this, yet I didn't feel any annoyance towards the film whilst watching it; the limp ending tested that, mind. The appearances of ... Ron Perlman and Billy Zane are, strictly due to who they are as actors, interesting, though their characters are rather lame; still, I would've dug a movie properly about those two. Victor Webster and Bostin Christopher, meanwhile, are unfortunately terrible. They aren't helped by the unfunny humour. Webster minorly looks the part, but his acting isn't up to scratch. Christopher's character is annoying, he is just burps and not much else. If you squint your eyes and block your ears, you may be able to soothe those issues and trick your brain into seeing Henry Cavill and Jack Black. I will say that that one scene where a ninja launches out of a lake and directly kicks a man relieving his bladder (yes, really) is pretty great though. Oh, and Dave Bautista is in this too, that's something...
