| Bartender Joey, who prefers to have affairs with married women, seduces Joan. She falls in love with him and leaves her husband, agreeing to work as a prostitute for Joey so they can get married. Joey continues to recruit for his prostitution ring and Joan, aware that she is just being used, holds out on him.
