Tommy Drake

Born in San Francisco to circus-veteran parents, Tommy Drake learned the arts of magic and juggling at an early age. He began performing professionally at twelve years old, and after graduating high school, he moved to New York to pursue entertainment. He eventually ended up in Houston, Texas, where ... he not only landed his own theater at Six Flags Astroworld, but had his own variety show every April and October. After a brief and disastrous foray into stand-up comedy, Tommy finally stumbled into his true calling: a Cher impersonator. He has been called the best in the business, and after working his way through the drag circuit, he finally caught the attention of the big C herself, and has spent the past two years, on and off, opening for Cher during her Farewell Tour. Tommy has been praised for bringing a needed sense of dignity and integrity to the Cher-impersonation profession, and has become a cult hero of those living alternative lifestyles everywhere. read more
