Ummid Ashraf (b. November 1997) is a multidisciplinary artist. He is the founder of Bipod - an independent production house based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His directorial debut short film "DHET!" got selected at the Fantasia International Film Festival 2025 and Sitges International Film Festival 2025 ... . He produced, wrote, directed, edited and was the colorist for it. Ummid's journey in film started as a colorist - "Priyo Maloti", "Dui Shaw", "Foreigners Only" being his most notable works. He makes music under the name "uummiid". He released his debut LP titled "ummid" in 2022.
