Lenny Manzo

Lenny Manzo has been in movie production for over 30 years, with over 10 years of experience in higher education at Emerson College. He has spent most of that time as a producer, director, and writer on a variety of projects. Mr. Manzo began his career as a sound mixer working on movies, TV, commerc ... ials, music videos, and corporate. Besides the audio department, he has worked in multiple departments, including camera, lighting, grip, and art department. He is the rare jack-of-all-trades in a business that is more focus-driven. Mr. Manzo took a hiatus from production to write and publish his first book, Above the Line, in 2011. In the same year, he was asked to work at Emerson College to head Production and to create the all-new Film and Media Safety Department in the Visual and Media Arts Department. During his time at Emerson, he produced safety movies, created other content for the college, and oversaw 3,000 student productions per school year. read more
