Girl Missing

It seems too good to be true, so what’s the catch? “Girl Missing” (2015) is a crime drama/thriller involving a manor-in-the-woods, like "Cold Creek Manor" (2003), but with a story and budget closer to “Glass House 2: The Good Mother" (2006). The awesome manor itself is a highlight, which is Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, on the western tip of Lake Superior. Beautiful Francesca (Clint’s daughter) was 21 during shooting and is also a highlight. The drama is one-dimensional, revolving around 3-4 characters within the hallowed halls of the estate and grounds. Moreover, the story’s kinda predictable, which is actually preferrable to eye-rolling twists. The movie runs 1 hour, 24 minutes, and was shot entirely in Minnesota. GRADE: B- read more
